The Pensions Conference will take place at Lodz University of Technology, Lodz, Poland. Lodz is situated in the center of Poland, nearby its capital city Warsaw (distance of 135 km). The communication between these cites is very convenient (1,5 hour by car, 2 hours by train). Both, Lodz and Warsaw have airports. Lodz is known as “The city of four cultures” inhabited before World War II by Poles, Jews, Germans and Russians. It is famous for the unique 19th century industrial architecture and its beautiful Piotrkowska Street, but it also offers a lot of other tourist attractions.
